Baby Buddy is the FREE mobile phone app for parents and parents-to-be with personalised content approved by doctors and midwives that spans from pregnancy right through to the first six months after birth.  This project was launched on 19th November 2014 and has been generously funded by the BIG Lottery Fund.

Family Action - Building stronger families

Families come in all shapes and sizes.  No matter how they are constructed, Family Action is committed to supporting them to realise their potential.  There are times when problems can seem too overwelming to manage.

Family Action works to tackle some of the most complex and difficult issues facing families today - including financial hardship, mental health problems, social isolation, learning disabilities, domestic abuse, or substance misuse and alcohold problems.  They work directly with vulnerable children and families through their services and also support professionals through their training and consultancy provision.

Mums In Mind

Have you recently had a baby? 

Having a baby is a wonderful thing, but with the demands a new baby brings, many new mums can suffer with low mood and anxiety.  But you're not on your own.

The Mums in Mind group is for new mums just like you.  Come along an share your experiences with other new mums who may be feeling the same as you.  This may include a number of feelings such as sadness, guilt, worthlessness and anxiety, disturbance of appetite and sleep, lack of interest and energy and for some thoughts about suicide and death.
