Office Manager

it is with regret that the school announces that Mrs Hughes , the School Office Manager, will be leaving on Friday 15th June. Mrs Hughes has been a very valuable member of staff since September 2011 and she has helped many staff, parents and pupils during her time with us.  Mrs Hughes is keen to pursue new challenges and the school wishes her well in her next role and thanks her for her dedication, hard work and commitment to the school during the past seven years.

Mufti day – Friday 13th July

Following a recent assembly about endangered animals, some of the children wanted to help and have asked for a mufti day to support this worthwhile cause.  So on Friday 13th July the children may come to school wearing their own clothes (no football kits please) in exchange for a £1 donation for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

Cake sale at the lower school

Year 1 will be having a cake sale on Monday 11th June after school under the canopy in the lower school playground to raise money for the Summer sounds festival.  50p per cake.

End of day arrangements

We understand that on occasion you may find it necessary for your child to be picked up by someone other than the usual person who collects them at the end of the day. In this instance please ensure that both the school office and your child know about this change.

We do appreciate that sometimes emergency situations arise after the start of the school day and in these cases we can get a message to your child to explain the change, however you must inform us as early as you can in the day in order for us to get a message to them.

It is extremely important to remind your child that if the person they are expecting to collect them does not arrive they should go straight to the school office for assistance.

Hamsey’s Got Talent!

The children across both sites are invited to audition for Hamsey’s Got Talent! So whether it’s a singing or dancing talent, playing a musical instrument or telling jokes then sign up for your chance to showcase your talent!

Please click here for details regarding lower school auditions, please click here for upper school auditions.

Lower school site car park

You may have noticed that the vehicle gate at the Lower school is currently out of order and permanently open.  Please could we ask all parents/carers to ensure that they use the pedestrian gate at all times, and do not walk through the car park under any circumstance.  Thank you for your co-operation in helping us keep everyone safe.
