India Day - NAMASTE!
The children (and staff) look spectacular dressed up in the most colourful saris and kurta pyjamas! The girls jingle in their jewellery and the boys stand tall in turbans.
The morning is very hectic beginning with a taste of Indian dancing. Last year the children said, 'It was very difficult at first but you just moved with the others and it got easier! I loved it when our bodies looked like the hood of a cobra!'
The food tasting is always a favourite. The children chop the vegetables for a vegetable curry - looking at and smelling the spices which go in as the curry was made.
